Explorer XS in X(tra) S(ad) condition!

This "Mine"lab certainly founded MINE!....dozen of those!

Horror!
What to say? You see everything on photos!
I have good will to repair it. Actually it is alright, workable and usable. Only it is ugly like hell!
Command panel printed foil has many breaks and therefore must be replaced.
Also front sticker...wasted. Must be replaced.
Temporary solution are those ugly buttons with even more ugly wires.
So... i would like to know is there any chance me to buy only that printed foil and front panel sticker? Where? How much? How?

New foil and sticker are lightweight and thin, could be packed in a simple envelope! Would not be a problem to send it by ordinary post service...
I just want to know where to order it and what should be the price...

Before 4...5 days i called you at mobile and at home phone but no answer Did you changed your phone number without tell me
Any way ... maybe i to made mistake with prefix. If you can, send at my email your phone number full with prefix.
Now i want to tell me the Muskateer with the 8" coil at what distance on air can detect a 2 euro coin???

Yes i changed it. Previous number was at shark provider! I had enough being robbed all the time!

Musketeer with 18cm coil (not 8") detects 1e (don't have 2e by me) at 28cm in air.
I sold my Musketeer already and bought brand new SE....
...
Than... yesterday i sold SE !!! I had it barely 10 days!
And than i bought cheap and ruinous XS.....
Wow! What a business!
Right now i don't have working detector any more! Today XS disassembled in pieces. Must hurry to fix this XS fast!
Most probably i will put it in quite different enclosure, with enough space for larger front panel and conventional buttons....

Finally fixed! Had lot of troubles to dig out how to pack it with all those buttons!
Could'nt obtain smaller. Again back part of mono monitor used as enclosure!

Everything fixed and functional.
Working excellent.
It is ready for outdoor. In the future i am planing to do a bit better front panel with laser engraver. For now this is enough.
Coil also fixed, new cable...etc...etc..
Well.... i don't see any significant difference between this XS and SE, except that SE has a bit faster software and few menu options more...
This is not Beauty .... it is real Beast!

Reading other forums, especially Minelab forums i see there are many people with similar front panel foil problems.
It seems this is only Explorer drawback.
People from Minelab should rethink this issue. Why using damn and stupid foil? Why not using easy replaceable buttons?
I should send this ugly photo to Minelab and ask them about!
Splendid machine like Explorer yet not perfect, just because of damn foil!
Original enclosure is sweet and very nice, yet i could'nt pack those buttons inside it, so i had to make another larger enclosure... now is not so sweet and nice...yet it is very robust...

It is ugly (comparing to how it looked originally). I don't like this look, yet it is hard compromise.
At least now it is fully functional.

The front panel exists as a spare and Italy costs 25 euro in my XS I just replaced, now my problem is that there is also a transistor to change and can not find the symbol. compliments for the work you've done. Hello Fabrizio (sorry for my English)
