Dual Disc pots plus help.

Need some ideas.
I would like to have two disc features.
Disc 1 for standard detector disc. mode as per stock detector
toggle switchable to
Disc 2 a variable notch system using two pots to vary disc. from two extremes. Or disc. as narrow as possible to find particular coin or coins...

What's the easiest way to do this?
I have an idea.

How about a variable tone control to add inline from the headphone jack to headphones. I would like to change the tone to I would like... Easiest way to do this? I am finding a lot of stuff on the web using a pot, op amp and some resistors?

stacked disc notch

It seems to me that the tesoro pantera used a stacked disc control for notch width and a toggle for notch accept/reject.
Iliked that feature and maybe someone could provide a schematic.

Sorry no Gerber files (I have to leave you SOME work to do). The PCB is 15mm square so it will fit inside ANY machine.

One proviso, NO COMMERCIAL USE. If I see ANYONE advertising this mod as a service my lawyers WILL be in touch (Commercial usage is a one off fee of $250 payable via PAYPAL) . That said, I give this to the forum FREE. If you make PCB's you are allowed to sell them AT COST ONLY to other forum users.

I have a version which can switch search heads too so you can fit a probe to your machine. In fact I have a version which can change over whole sections of internal circuitry to enable multi mode operation.

The idea is very good but your schema contains small errors. There are several junction too much. The same can make still more simply at the use only one 4053. I do so for a long time. I greet

Yes Mrand you are right (Protel SUX).

The inputs should NOT be connected to the control lines.

I could post a new version, but someone should be able to work from what I had.
