I HAVE A GARRETT AMERICAN S2(THE ONLY DETECTOR THAT I COULD FIND IN S.AFRICA).I WOULD LIKE TO TRY IT ON NUGGET-HUNTING. HOW WELL SHOULD IT PERFORM OR CAN I UPGRADE IT?

Compared to newer nugget detectors, the S2 is probably lacking in sensitivity, and I doubt there is anything reasonably easy you can do to enhance it.
