delta pulse depth detection

hi to every body in this form

who notes that delta pulse with small 25..45 coil in room give more detection than in forest?


i face this problem


for example in room it detect coca can about 82 cm in air with 25 cm coil

and in land were there is no noise it detect it about 65 max


why is that ?

Deltapulse has a feedback loop. I think the purpose of the feedback loop is to track the ground, and to modify sample delay time so that the receiver does not overload in the presence of ground mineralization.

This could account for the effect that you describe, although I do not know if the quantity of effect that you are experiencing is normal. The feedback loop would change sample timing in relation to a target's peak response.

Pin-2 of D2A ( 4538 ) serves as the timing network for the primary sample and you can see there is a connection to the LF357 through T2 and T3.

Besides all the above, it is only natural to expect less distance while detecting in ground, compared to air tests.
