Had a "gritty" air spaced capacitor on my new (to me) Arado 120, and trouble getting the meter to centre.
Removed the Capacitor and gave the bearings a good blast with automotive brake cleaner aerosol - still gritty - gave between the vanes a blast with the brake cleaner - BINGO !
Result = one smooth as new air-spaced capacitor. Meter now centres smoothly without flicking about.
Now to put it on the slimfast plan - new housing and aluminium stem should do it
