        • Very carefully choose a resistor damper coil. Target detection range depends on it very much. Very Dependent

                    • Good to see you here again Eddy. I did welcome you back in another thread, but when I compared your plight to social injustices being enacted here in Oz the thread became a slinging match between our European members and was deleted....
Thankfully the internet provides places for the exchange of ideas and opinions despite political interference. I commend the mods here for their hard stance against free-for-alls and childish name-calling.
The end of vertical integration and the obsoletion of political agenda cannot come soon enough.

                      • Thanks for the kind words.
But I do not want to talk about politics here.
In prison I did not have enough soldering iron and a computer.
But there was a lot of time to think..
There are many new ideas, I will do in the near future.
Now I start living away from home. I make myself a new home-laboratory.

But TL072 and TL082 worked very well.

The resistor parallel to the search coil had to be selected to suppress the parasitic oscillations.
Good idea Eddy, do you have the complete circuit with TL072? I'd like to try it !!

A TL072 is a direct pin for pin compatible part. Just plug it into the socket the TL062 come out of.
Check the pin-out diagrams on the Data Sheets.
