Does any one know the transmit frequency of Eric Fosters beach scan pulse detector.

Hi Dave,
The Beachscan has a variable frequency dependent upon the delay setting. At minimum setting I believe the frequency is over 6 Khz.
Eric uses a 555 timer that is then feed to a divide by 10 counter so at a minimum of 15 usec the frequency would be about 6.66 Khz.
As the delay is turned up, the frequency lowers. I am not sure what the maximum delay is so I can't tell you the pulse frequency at that setting, but my guess is it is less than 2 Khz.
