I was fooling around a little with some wire and a ferrite rod . Since I got two DBP 2010 ready and working I was wondering what would happen if I wound some wire around the rod and connected it to the detector . The rod was about 20cm long with a diameter of 10mm . I laid 6cm of windings on the middle part of the rod . I did not even count the windings . The wire diameter was 0.5 mm . To my surprise I ended up with a very sensitive probe . How come ? I don't know . Can anybody tell me ? Kees
