Can pinpointer detecting thin chain?

I have an idea for you: BLIND PINPOINTER!!! NO INDICATION AT ALL!!!

But how it works? If you using pinpointer for sure you holding metal detector in other hand and your headphones are on.
If you hold your coil close enough to pinpointer you have to hear some interference from its work.
And when your pinpointer find target that noises changing.

So let your pinopointer to communicate with your metal detector and use metal detector coil as a receiver of pinpointer emitting signals.
It will make staff much more simple and convenient especially to use underwater where you can not hear your pinpointer or look on it.

Sure there some experiments are required and may be some changes or tunings for frequencies but it looks doable.

Your new idea is impressive. A Nobel Prize is not important enough for your idea. You deserve more than that.
But what you say is true "interference detection" can be very efective, but not new.

Nupi pinpointer detecting by the top end and has short coil. That concentration of field and sensitivity in small area probably allows it to detect small targets even may be that needles.

Pinpointer from the picture has a long coil and I expect its magnetic field spreads more over long coil and sure it has lower sensitivity as result and lower chance to detect such tough targets like that needles.

Maybe with a multiple coil which is made up of several small ferrit coils there are around with parallel coupled air coils.

You are right. It have to be a bar with multiply pinpointers.

Finally "Rake" Pinpointer has Poped-UP!!!!! I wanted to draw it from the beginning on this thread weeks ago.

Every pinpointer in the rake needs that short coil with highly concentrated focus of magnetic field and sensitivity at the end.
Also probably function of all CD4024 counters for all pinpointers may be provided by one microcontroller with many I/O lines to make it cheaper.
Offered by Davor coil with one inductance may helps too.
Automatic adjustment is a problem awaiting to be solved for this application and may be that microcontroller can do it too.

So finally "Rake" Pinpointer may be useful as a Gold Chains Detector & Nuggets Detector.

but prefer quiet in my room. Directly from CD-player to the headphones.

I am sure any one else will jump out from his pants in such situation.
I am regretting I did not care GoPro to save such moments.

One time it happened to me . I'm in the North Sea with my High End DY gold detector
to search and then went all the green LEDs on of my display. I know it, this is 100% gold, and
not a little bit but really large pieces. I thought, boy, this is your lucky day.
But when I saw it, and stood face to face against each other ......................I jump out of my pants and I said

I never went in the water again.
