      • Beautifully drawn schematic, Eduardo.

Has anyone built up the timing/logic part of the circuit yet ? It would be good to see a timing/firing sequence diagram for this circuit. Like the one Jose did for the original GS. It would be a useful reference.

        • 6666; I share the "all metal, discrimination", published in the latest Eduardo scheme mode.
I have my doubts, about the time/logic scheme, in both channels must be equal, so that R20 should be 240K.
You probably have to invert the inputs 2 and 3 in the integrator "U3a".
I think it is necessary to carry out the checks mentioned greylourie, to compare with GS4 times.
Pay special attention to what mentioned in his post 212, Orbit, concerning how they should be the polarities of the voltages on both channels if everything is correct.

            • Orbit's design is a beautiful and interesting project requires attention and some improvements and will get a super detector, and indeed is a stable detector. Thank you for the effort Orbit

                      • Hi everyone !

I'm currently building a Goldskan VI and it's ringing loud, but my detection range is pretty small and sometimes the sound is decreasing as soon as i approach a target in front of the coil.

I made some measurements on my power circuit and i've noticed something strange that i don't understand:

On my V- pin i've got -14.4V and on my V+ pin i've got -4V
                        Is it ok ?

Moreover, i've set some triggers (RV1,2,3..) to the right value (0V) but i don't find in the thread the value which is used to set trigger like P1 P2 P3 at the right settings.

I'll try this detector with many coils (basket coil, dual coils, large and small coils) in order to make some tests so I will post videos as a report.

Thanks in advance for your help

                        Regards

It is possible to use 1n6263 in place bat49

                              Thank you

                              • the bat 49 is put as protection against reverse polarity of the batteries
the bat 49 bears a higher current than the 1n6263
