will this be missing in the design for a good discrimination? .. I have good stability good range when changing dic .. reduced range as mentioned above ..

      • Can you make the discrimination equal or better than in this video in this design?

Designed for use in Australia. Iron mineralisation is extremely high.

            • Hi Eclipse and 6666.
              I made the clone GS4 and GS5.
For the synchronization of the time base of the GS5, use the GS4 scheme of Pa Pa Alex, which is correct.
Your image seems to be correct, but I will verify it and then publish it.

The GS4 and GS5, does not discriminate. With certain GB configurations and the separation between channels, the removal of objects is achieved according to their conductivity.
When GB is used, the depth is lost because the signal from both channels is subtracted.
Good sensitivity and low noise are necessary to obtain good results.
The tolerance in the components of both channels, must be strict, for a good performance of the GB.
In the province of Argentine missions, the land is very mineralized and the GB of my GS5, (homemade) is difficult to adjust.

ID:	356423The times and sequence of the GS4, as it is in mine. The 20 us window should be 15, just by the values of the components in the scheme.
In the GS5, it is similar except that the delay starts at 10 us and ends at 25us.
                  The window is 15us.
The difference between the first and second sample is 100us, in both channels.
And the separation between channels is 5 us, to be measured, after the pulse cumination of the first sample.
                  TX width is 100us.

                            Hello, every one,
Can anyone explain how the 7805 works?
                            How is it grounded?
                            Thank you for your attention!

                            • Wow, that's a bizarre schematic. First, the battery symbol is upside-down. VCC is usually a positive voltage but in this case it's the negative side of the battery. And ground is +12V wrt the negative side of the battery. Finally, the 7805 (U9) has the Vin and Vout pins backwards. The input is from a charge pump which should be ~12V higher than the output of U11 which means the 7805 output is 5V higher than U11-Vout (aka ground).
