Thank U my dear friend,I've built the coil and conect the pcb,but when i put the metal over the coil and hold still is no sound, move the metal to cut magnetic field is OK.I build in picture A,hat's the reason for this?Another question, picture B and C are felezjoo pi smd?who has the Lay and Sch?

hello everyone
I just build this detector (FPI) and i have two questions:
1) If i use an aluminum box for the circuit and connect it to the Shield point (GND), will it detect it's box?
or does the metal box(connected to GND) effect it in a negative way?
2) should i shield the coil with graphite?
a 50cm coil
thank you

Adding graphite to the coil makes it much heavier
I conducted some experiments myself so results are:
i put some different metals in a plastic box and completely shielded it with thick aluminum foil then connected the foil to the pcb shield point with a long wire
to test it on the coil
it detects the box
i tried without the extra metals, still detects it's shield point (GND)
so my problem is that i need to put the lcd in front of me to see some data
and the only way that i know to do with my available handle is down blow
it's a card board model of a box i want to use
i worry if the PCB would interfere with coil or not
one guy over here did the same thing with a bigger plastic box and says it won't interfere if you are careful with angle and distance
I don't know what to do

my coil is 50cm / 18turns spiral / 0.75mm enameled
auto delay is +21
the discrimination does not work, shows every thing as NON-FE
i just want to know if it's not a coil problem then i glue my coil windings and make it rigid with confident
please let me know

Dear selim, in this pcb 7805 does not receive power supply
voltage. What is the reason. Is there a correction.
Sincerely, etwert
