  • why dont You just try graphite powder + nitro lacquer in relation 1:1?

    • Cant find graphite powder here, i only have battery carbon, but not good enough, +white glue is 200k ohm/inch

I think that 3130 gave a bit better waveform than the LF357 but at soda can the LF357 detected it at 2cm more.
At coin 1 euro i did n't see any diffference.
Geo Thanks!I tried AD8055.It works well, stable, an automatic delay of 6 us .... probably because of its high speed ..Please put AD8055 and the oscilloscope to see the result ...Perhaps a two-stage amplifier would work better, first with CA3130 and next to AD8055.

          • Guys, how you all manage to get 30cm air test for coin, the best i get is only 20cm with 23cm chance coil, 0.8mm 350uh.
Never get 1m for big object.
Above the ground, coin is about 13cm with proper setting

                S9 D0 F403 P110

FREQUENCY 403 (More value increase detection speed)
INT.G 18 (more value increase air deep)
GROUND 1 (more value = longer ground Ballance)
SPEED 10 (more value increase detection range and speed)
This is my setting to be work above the ground, else it will always ringing, coil is unshielded ,i was bought $8 graphite spray, and put small cooper clad with wire as graphite contact, but make it terrible with the sensitivity.

                • Frequency 180-240, delay 0, pulse width 100-140, ground 2, speed 8, integ 28- 40,..choose first the higher value on the range, if still ringing reduce the sensitivity up to 16, if still ringing reduce the pulse width, if still ringing reduce the integ to 30 below, if still ringing reduce the frequency up to 200 or below..i your board or parts have no problem with the sensitivity of 14 machine will work will..for wet and dry sand sensitivity can work up to 18.

Ivica,,,, sorry but i did n't find a LM318 for test...

GEO, could you please tell me did you try a CA3130 or CA3130A
                    they are different spec chips
                    thanks.

                    • Thanks for the sugestion, I think i have wrong oriented bc337, my LCR read it wrong, now it can sens coin for 25cm in strong emi area. But the sound is weeker maybe i need a bigger speaker, i use pc beep buzzer.
Tell me if im wrong, to use this md its need to ballance it every above the ground to minimalizing ground effect.
