Hi,
Dantech, can you explain the menu option, compare to latests chance is so different, the best I can get for now for coins is about 20cm in high enough area, without annoying sound, stable.

My problem is, every time I change something like barrier or menu option it's always ringing, the solution is turn it off and on again.
I use old chance PCB with updated schematic to follow the latest firmware from Andy website. I'm not using 4.7uh choke.

This is theread about 2nd ChancePI not original ChancePI
Original ChancePI firmware and hardware is not supported by me at all at the moment.
You have to issue suggested by me hardware changes to get optimized for 2nd ChancePI hardware and you have to use my the latest firmware v21

Yes I know, you said before somewhere that original updated chance is compitable so I try and works, without omit the parts, you know that my board following your hardware change is not working, and there is no complete PCB layout reference, only schematic, I'm not too good with scheme. And I already use V.21

Will someone please confirm for me that pretty much any 12 x 2 Hatachi HD44780 Compatable LCD will work on the Chance ?

I use a 16 X 2 display...12 isn't enough.

Can you make it to a motion detector? My vulcanic soil is not compromise any non motion detector

Every pure PI detector is static one.
I did not see any dynamic PI and I do not believe to see it.

Ripsdevala gave you an example of motion PI's: surfpi, pickini, barracuda etc.. So I don't know how you "can't see any dynamic pi"
