I have the C code for the MCU, it will need slight adjustment for this (or other circuit) but I believe it won't be hard.
I've tested it this summer and it worked.

Bad thing is I don't have proper timing diagram generated by GS 4.
Otherwise If someone is able to provide such, I can modify the source and supply some programmed PICs.

Components in red can be replaced by the MCU.

If you powered the micro with ground and -5 volts, couldnt you drive the fet gates directly ?

No you need level shifting. I usually use transistors or cd4504.
BTW I wouldn't trust my old posts in the forum so much.
I learned alot in the past year or two, I focused on RE some circuits like the TDI, JW X8, Manta V3 etc, appears the best way to learn something is to break something.
