The published GS5 scheme has some errors.
The capacitors in the integrators must be 100 nF.
The input resistance of 1K, must be 2.2K. View image.

yes yes correct jose. GS5 veru bad stupid turk sxema. not work. trash detektor. cash lose nerves lose. not work stupid turksxema.
sandbank exelent detektor. work super. mach stabile, good teren detektor.
i agree with you - no clear high resolution pics of the boards from both sides, no full part list with all measured values,
no sketches of traces, no pics of pots with wires, no values of the pots. absolutely trash.

I will construct a working prototype, then I will post a verified schematic and layout. It is truly amazing that such a simple circuit could deter advanced tech guys from attempting to build just because of some missing pot values and other minor details. The GS4 has been well documented on this forum and could be an easy reference. All this project needs is a little time and dedication.

Every time it will be someone complaining about other people work... i hope you succeed with this project.
I would like to extend a special thanks to Ivconic for valuable contributions made to this forum over the years, especially his work on developing the golden sabre light project. I for one will miss his presence here. There have been many others too, so thank you all.
no contributions. NOTHING. he took old famous schematic drawn William Lahr and castrated it up.
while King cobra is:
1. long waiting and monitoring of ebay for the GMT in broken state, i waited years!
2. i paid for overseas shipping from USA. thats VERY EXPENSIVE!
3. the board was fully resoldered, every component was measured.
4. i learned P-CAD 2006 for to do a board copy. ivconic used only primitive sprint layout!
5. i opened a coil and learned it inside.
i gave all info, schematic, BOM file, pcb. FREE.
i did not take Lahr's schematic for the project, i did all myself
PS. i wait somebody from you sending me GS5 pcbs and i will give you absolutely detailed PROJECT.

You did an excellent job on the King Cobra.
I think most members of the forum know those who contribute and those who don't. Obviously some people may not have sufficient electronics knowhow to feel confident, and are understandably nervous to "show and tell" when it comes to their own projects. There are also others who just leech ideas from the forum, and have no intention of ever posting anything useful. Unfortunately that's just the nature of forums in general.
Yes, it can be very frustrating when you see the same newbie questions again and again, but I've noticed over the years that most people are willing to help within the limitations of their knowledge. You just have to take the rough with the smooth. Personally, I've learned a lot from the Geotech forums.

agre total kt315 truth .castrated shemas. big thanks goodwork goodman William Lahr.
make new schemas need big brain. MD need smart head no gum and pencil.
Well mens,
I give to the forum the GS4 schematic and the Baracuda pulse detector that i myself reengineering ...it is the only way to have the circuit good design.... if i will have the GS5 in my hand i will make the same work
