Something is wrong in this schematic. Power supply won't work.

This has been spoken about many times , who ever drew the schematic got the 7905 symbol a bit skewwhiff
if you move the ground symbol inside the box up to the +12v leg it works

Somebody attempted to relabel it

Hi Alec,,,The gerbers can be extracted from the Layout file that Walkman posted if you have Sprint layout? If you don't have it I could extract them for you and post them. I've searched for the XL 500 Gerbers by Dbanner but can't locate them on the forum. Regards, Marty.

You need to add the board outline to those Gerber files. otherwise it will be rejected by the PCB manufacturer.

I zipped and uploaded the file to a pcb factory and the gerbs pass ok
pcb is 105x126 mm
very interested if anybody makes this and how it works

Hi all,,,,I may build it at a later date but not just yet as I've been really busy with repairs to the house that aren't fully finished yet and I still have my Voodoo to complete. I've already built tons of 'P.I's' that all work great but as you know I don't drive and the nearest beach is 2 hours away so I've been trying to concentrate on my VLF builds, and the Voodoo, so I have more success with 'Inland' detecting. Like I said, I may build it later even if it's just to add to my growing collection of P.I's and maybe learn something new along the way. Regards, Marty.
