    Probably I can help.

Thanks Carl, here are few questions I have:

        1. On the bottom side there are Frequency and Delay connectors - I'm going to try 100K potentiometers /is that OK/
        2. The threshold connector - I'm going to try 100K potentiometer /is that OK/
        3. The ground balance connector is 4 pin connections are not very obvious at the moment
        4. On the top side what is the P1 connector, it's not labelled what it is, perhaps GAIN, in the SL the GAIN it's 100K but here probably a 50K is more appropriate value?

          1. Freq & Delay were originally 10k. Still, 100k will probably work.
          2. Threshold is 100k.
          3. On the GB connector, 2 pins (1 & 3) are for the 100k pot connection. The other 2 pins (2,4) are for shielding. The wiring for the pot should be small shielded coax. S-video cable would work.
          4. As I recall, P1 is shorted for calibrating the backend circuitry. I don't remember the procedure so try not to mess with trimpots.

            Thanks Carl.

I will let you know when this thing fires up, hopefully no smoke.

G'Day Daverave. I always thought that a 8uS sample delay was too low for wet sand use too, but I've since learned otherwise with this new design. I used it successfully at 8uS in wet sand with no problems whatsoever. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1b__o20ziJw&t=237s

Hello Elliot...Did you make the aqualand detector yourself and if so what circuit is your detector based on ????

Are these new builds or simply re-boxing a TDI PCB?

Does anyone have a PCB/Schematic I can have a copy of please?

i dont have a TDI pro schematic...my two TDI's are based on GS 5 and have been modified to the Pro version and operate at 8 uS delay.

Is your modified GS5 project one that you are able to share a schematic of with the forum?
                                Cheers
