  • 1.2 n was in one of the units, in the other it was 1nf, that capacitor affects the width of the transmission pulse, nothing significant affects the operation! The device works with both 1nf and 1.2nf. You yourself made a mistake on the pcb and no one can help you but you! As someone said solder another pcb no one can help you.

Repeating over and over that the schematic or PCB has errors is not going to solve your problem. Multiple people have said it works, so it's time to try a different path. Troubleshoot your circuit and figure out what is wrong with it. Start with the power supplies, then the timing, then the TX, then work your way down the RX. It will probably help to redraw the schematic in a more readable form.
the jumpers in epoxy layer are just for protection from pirates. no another aim. when the pirate deletes the black epoxy he breaks those thin copper wires, after he gets his full copy of board is not working.
in Pulse Star II Pro author used two PIC micros and did not use the black epoxy, no need. the PICs have the protection bite.

      • Hello Ivconic.
I just received my Pulse Star 2 from Aliexpress. Congratulations on the great work you've done.
Thanks to you I have had the opportunity to test this detector.
        Best regards,
        Eduardo.

What are the specifications of those four erased ICs?

          • Hello.
The integrated circuits are completely erased and absolutely nothing is visible. I assume they are: TL064, CD4066, CA3130, and LF411.

No, these are not ICs, they don't work.

Everything is exactly as I stated on the pcb and on the schematic! It is possible to use lf444 instead of tl064 for greater sensitivity.

Hello dear friends, I need the schematics of these two boards. Can anyone please send them to me? I would be grateful. ([email protected])

                  • Can anyone provide details on how to make 1.20m x 1.20m and 60cm x 60cm coils for this detector?

                    • A friend bought a Pulse Star but doesn't have the coils and wants me to build them for him. I've been thinking about doing it with UTP internet cable and a PVC pipe frame.

                      • Do you also know what battery this detector uses? Because I bought it without a battery.

                        • Hello, the metal detector had a problem with the IC, it was fixed. Ic lf411 or tl061.

                          • Does anyone know how to increase the depth of the Pulse Star in my test with a 28 cm coil, for me 1 euro is about 15 cm, which seems a little to me.

how about the depth of cola can with 1 meter coil?
