  • glad to see you in game.
second board is for any impulse power supply (PS) with two and more output voltages. you have to load all outputs by load, by resistors.
another way this is useful for trash tech if you take/find/use PS from trash electronics - tv sets, videorecorders, LAN modems etc.
right loading of PS gives you right stabile work of PS. 'loader board'. all types of resistors are fitting, 1..2..5..10Watt.
sometimes a PS does not wish to turn on... that is.
good and mandatory for laboratory PS, 'always on table and in use'.

    • hello all, these few days I tried to experiment with DP like the following photo,
      I changed my R5 to 470r
      I changed my R6 220r
      frequency 300hz
      induction coil 300-320 uH
then I changed the resistor near 14538 as in the photo * with a 503 trimpot to adjust the timing on T4 and T5
T4 which on the 40us scheme I changed to 22us
      T5 100us,
good detection results with plato pliers which was 40cm points, now 50cm points.
the gold ring that used to have to be attached to the coil, now can be 18cm points,
that's my experience with DPClick image for larger version

          • Hi to all
            I'm New in this forum
I would like to know the difference between the sniffer xr71 and delta pulse2 and which is the best for Roman treasures
            Thanks

            • sniff is re-tuned on 300PPS, it maybe good if you use good reserve batt, meaning Amper * Hour value of the batt.

An ampere hour or amp hour (symbol: A⋅h or A h; often simplified as Ah) is a unit of electric charge, having dimensions of electric current multiplied by time, equal to the charge transferred by a steady current of one ampere flowing for one hour, or 3,600 coulombs.[1][2]

The commonly seen milliampere hour (symbol: mA⋅h, mA h, simplified as mAh) is one-thousandth of an ampere hour (3.6 coulombs).

Can you share gerber files of sniffer please?

I confirm that i received yesterday, really good PCB. I ask you one thing: in the DP_BOM file, in the list there are precision resistors R23-R24 and R25-R26 with 4.70Kohm, but on the PCB is written 4.72KOhm. Do you think that is similar and not important if i use one or the other resistor or is better one value? I noticed that they must be tuned in pair.

good. you had got Winter Project.
there was not a note to set precision resistors but my understanding of schematic says me to use them.
                      so i added this demand.
you need fundamental knowledge... open tables https://riedon.com/blog/e24-e48-e96-...sistor-values/
                      you can use - 4,6
                      4.72
                      4.75
or, take much resistors 20-50pcs, 1% 0.5%, from/off one party and choice the pairs by measuring.
remember, after soldering their values can floated... another way you can measure after the heating.
                      all the best

                          H, i nearly finished all, i have 2 question:
                          - the trimmer P.P.S. 100K which value has to been set? If i move the value what does it change?
                          - tantalum capacitor are on the bottom side right? And i have to see the position in the picture dp__mir_bot31.jpg in the folder "new board"?
                          Thank you

                          hi
                          1/ noticed on the schematic
                          2/ noticed in BOM file
                          3/ 100Hz or 120Hz

tantalum just on bottom side. they all are SMD, just SMD type.
polarity is visible by (+) sign in bottom mask layer, try to look by zoom glass.
PLEASE learn the tantalums using GOOGLE search.

                          pleasure

                                Hello, brother
I just thank you for this project which worked perfectly with me (turkish pcb)
for the ICs I used original circuits from texas instrument with a TL081 instead of the lf357
and I set the pulse widths using the attached help
Thank you very much once again my brother
