SMPI issue

hello, little question about my original SMPI from whites which is broken, the tuner
potentiometer is brand clara mexico 10 kilo-ohm with an on / off switch, on my knob when
the potentiometer is closed, it leads and when I open it, it is cut which is the
opposite of an on / off switch, on the attached original diagram *
and on my PCB, it is the P6 which is positioned between the
zener D5 and the resistorr R32, so, normally open or normally closed, thanks

in batt chk position is closed. click... opened pins... you may tune...click... you hear a zoom... batt voltage is norm...

ok. first point. switch closed, it is First Position, yea? then a voltage from power supply, positive potencial,
go on output speaker driver. you hear constant zoom, if BATTERY VOLTAGE LEVEL is hight.
U7/A clatsz clatsz on GND... from U4/D... you hear the Modulation of THE potencial/DC/power.

second point. you turn the pot and ... click... you tune the pot in same position.
switch opened. you hear a reaction on metal/target. this is work state. THE Hunting.

what is not clear for your understanding?
