      • Testing with AC erase head from cassete deck. It is the micro-pin-pointer coil.

        • I was reading 50+ pages of this thread and seen lots of variants
          Bulgarian, Turkish...
          What are differences ?

Is this final version of Delta Pulse...
          http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showt...856#post185856

Can someone please post PCB design for this data. If possible one sided PCB.
Need more documentation - making coil, parts not on PCB...

          Thank you.

          • differences are turkish 50% are not working as needed. I have a guy who fights with turkish board much time and there is still nothing of progress.
sound up on turn on and then goes. MOS-FET is speedy heated. http://md4all.ru/index.php?showtopic=429&st=20&start=20

DP works with macro- coils and micro-pinpointer coil

            • Expensive pinpointer
Can you point me to PCB file... I can only produce one sided PCB

              • two bulgarians made two another traccing accordingly. so there are:
                - bulgarian two sided PCB with name DELTA PULSE
                - bulgarian two sided PCB with name SNIFFER XR-71
                - turkish one sided PCB with name DELTA PULSE
                - turkish one sided PCB with name DELTA PULSE-2

                • You combined two of them Delta Pulse and XR-71 in one schematics

You said that Turkish DP in not good ...

You are selling KITs or boards ?

                  Comment

                  • my board is too compact, turkish board is like a russian lapot' sizes (look pic).
I do not say turkish board is not good but I see people has problems with its. so traccing is not right. I see people finding mistakes in tracing. anyway you have to find these mistakes and maybe your board will work. I am selling bare blank PCB because I am living in provincial small town, not capitol, my country is not Mexico with 110 millions inhabitans. not have possibilites to complect the kits, or, the kits will be much so expensive for you that nobody will be interested.

what do stth1210D in DP2, please explain me more , i want know.
                      regards

                      • like a Zener diode, MOSFET's voltage impulse on its DRAIN pin (we call this impulse DELTA PULSE, eah my friend Moha??) will
be cutted (look the datasheet) on 400V level. yes, NOTHING IN THIS WORLD so ideal =(
a rest of the impulse goes in the heat - ups! zener diode ALSO works with the warm. it absorbs some 'waste' power.
if you connect in DRAIN the high voltage diode you will have - 1500V diode will NOT
LIMIT the voltage peak. BECAUSE 1500V >>>>> 400V.
                        NO WARM, NO LOSS.

                          • attention. this is only commics. do not stay by o-scope probe on the DRAIN of MOSFET, because you can burn o-scope. you need in special HV probe for this testing.

                            • KT315, that is soooo much BULL. Adding a fast recovery diode has NOTHING to do with increasing - or decreasing flyback voltage. NOTHING. The diode will serve to isolate MOSFET capacitance from the coil during flyback, and may allow the use of a higher value of damping resistance and also may reduce flyback settling time, when competently applied.

The diode will never 'see' any more than whatever the breakdown voltage of whatever MOSFET device is being used.

                              ENOUGH ALREADY.

edit: Adding an FR diode is not a magic bullet.
