I do not see advantages in your design. for me always is very strange a people waste a time on new layout when the first oldie design is good tracing, comfortable, working, not be troubleshooting. certainly this your right to do what you want. but...
Delta Pulse is not design for RE-tracing, for waste time on fixing, tuning, etc! REMEMBER THIS GUYS! only follow comments what we write here and all! you must get the working device outright on a moment you first turn it on!
I do not present an electronic skill you have... I hope still you has conducted all points 'Tr2, 4, 5' from left part to right according the schematic...
I don't know what's your purpose with this post, maybe the PCB designing in such system doesn't demonstrate the rule of PCB in circuit operation, but in practical, high frequency, noisy or industrial systems you can see that your design will not work only because of lack of attention to PCB and its rules. surely one good PCB designing, will have some consequences to better and stable operation.

about this circuit, I found one mistake in soldering, I had soldered one transistor instead of other one , I changed it.
Now when I turn ON the circuit, the speaker sounds and meter acts, but after 1-2 seconds it goes to normal situation (meter=0 and speaker=silent), but I can't see any reaction to metal,
some adjustments needed? or one problem again?
as I mentioned before, it seems that the PCB which is made in forum is not really routed by the introduced schematic. it seems it has some differences with the schematic.
You can help me a lot by some circuit critical voltages, like Mosfet gate, transitor pins and ....
Hesamavr , Don’t disappoint . delta pulse circuit is correct . The last revision Uploaded by KT 315 . you built nice circuit board. Try check it with oscilloscope section to section .
aft is right. there are not differencies. the schematic is clear, oldie first one from Bulgarian is also clear. use o-scope diagram, it is enough. note - there are NOT TUNING POTS, except for frequency.
hi kt315 I built circuit depending on the original picture , but I note tne tension at PIN 5 AND 9 OF IC NE556 VERY LOW (10 m volt) and the COIL HAVE pULSE POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE (with low voltage = 8 mv)

I can read only 0.3V ac (120KHz), and 5.1V dc on Mosfet gate. it seems that it is OFF, but in successful circuits, they have heat-sink, but in my circuit it is cooler than room temperature.
other signals in circuit, based on your post were correct.

I built this circuit but did not work
it emit a continued sound if i push reset the sound is off and when i wl'd tunning trshold potentiometer the continued sound return again.
Then i adjust them according to schema sent by KT 315
But noticed that the voltage has become a 5 volt on the capacitor 10000micfarad
There is heat on his diode and transistor irf740
what is new problem
What to do in this case?!!

DP was working very stable after long storing! there was very hard thing on lake bottom we was not able rise up
i made some quick measurement with my scope (child toy ) and i have diferent timming diagram, than posted here. I have the latest schematics without fast diode. T2 was over 100uS and T3 only +- from 80uS to 300uS. I change C1 for 15nF and C2 for 22nF. T2 goes down to about 80Us and T3 to 100 - 500 uS. I must borrow better scope Now, a paint spray in 1 meter

that picture was with bad battery..putted on new and it works great..
yes eaven with old batt..nothing gets warm and its stabil..
i am a happy man now...i love this deltapulse...
i used mylar cap for 1.5 nf c4,c5.,c6 . cheramic plate cap for C17 47pF and c13 15pf.
All other caps is poly ,,for me Wima 100nf MKS2 caps worked good here
new battery and gave it 12v today,,tested and play with it this eavning,,yes its stabil and sensitive
i used 100 ohm resistor for volume untill i get my hands on a 100ohm pot.
all resistors used is 1% and not the cheapest
Power on for 15 minute .nothing get warm.nothing smells xi xi..and stabile
i used cd4538bcn and cd4066be , Lf357 , tl062 and (ne556n instead of lm556)
its super sensitive...0.6w for 680r by the irf740 and 2.2k 1w for paralell bobin coil
tested in 30 min now ..seems to be better and better nothing is heating and its stabil.
i had to use a 100ohm resistor for volume control,,my 100ohm new new pot was bad and cheap
but now i know i can buy better quality potmeters to it.
so if you dont wanna make a coil..detectorpro`s pulse bob works great with delta pulse.
all other pulse detectors ive have tryed this coil..went out no good.
.but at last that coil come to use
Detector turned out to be just great..Thanks to designer on singelside pcb delta pulse... i love it
