Thank u very much for ur helps on this forum.I made a DP,but I have some questions.pls
guide me:
1-For square coils(40*40,60*60 and 100*100cm),what is exact number of round and wire
diameter for each one?(I am searching for medium size objects over 4 ft depth)and must
coils had sheild and enamel?
2-How can i connect microAmper meter and headphone to DP togather?
can i connect to SPK point?

I've made and result for 0.3mm diameter wire is 16 turns for 300uH for 1m*1m... but then you have always make tests by your own to be sure coil is ok for your setup (e.g. using scope to see how good is damped etc etc)
You have also to consider resistance about the maximum current required at each TX pulse... and limit if needed by a small value resistor of few ohms 2W.
About shielding ... if you use larger coils you can suspend them far away soil e.g. 20cm and more... so you can also omit shield cause soil influence will be low at that distances.
About enamel depends if you use enamelled wire or plastic pvc covered wire... that you can use in larger coils... in any case each turn need to be insulated from the others.
2. uhm... well you can take a look at XR-71 about meter... XR-71 and DeltaPulse share most of the circuit... that's about the same so you can mod tailoring stuff for your needs; for headphone you can connect a socket to speaker wires and use a resistor to match better inductance of headphones (sometimes for hi-quality HP the inductance is around 150ohm... for common stuff you can use a 27-33ohm resistor there... that will give you a good volume without overload "normal" HP speakers).

Hi. Delta Pulse (100Hz) need a 1mH coil, so for any dimension you need make the right calculate. If you will make a 1x1m coil then it is better to use at least 1mm dianeter wire. At 60x60 0.5mm wire will be OK.
Don't forget to play with dumper resistor.Comment

Maybe a big coil can detect (in air) at 5ft... but not in the ground... in the ground is another story for these super-air-detectors
Me can detect 1eur coin at 50cm, in air, with a "doped" PI and 8''coil... but that's another story !
On soil the same PI works nothing!
