The available information for this detector is about 50 megabytes. It can't be uploaded here.

        • I can't really understand how certain media could be more than just a few MBs.
I mean even if you pack .lay files in the archive it won't be more than 10MB. Images, BOM text files and .lay files all together.

Even so, there are many file hosting providers like https://wetransfer.com - https://gofile.io/ and many others.

so we CAN NOT do 'excellent machine'. you must learn QED story and do right conclusion.
thats why we do just simplest analog projects, but effective. any PI device with discrimination micro-based with open code will be died.
So any Pulse Induction metal detector that includes a micro-controller and has (even partial) discrimination can not be built because of Minelab copyrights?
It's like saying that a car manufacturer has the right to stop other car manufacturers from producing cars because they have 4 wheels and a steering wheel.

If you skip the part of the open source code, Felezjoo PI falls in that category and yet, here it is (such a shame it's not open-source, that machine could do wonders with improvements in it's source code).

            • you compare iranian project with australian. that sure unright. putrid hands of minelab can not reach out before Iran shiits.

              • OK i understand that's impossible* for Minelab to get their hands on Mr. Hamid but again what you are saying makes no sense (but it doesn't mean I reject your opinion, it just seems impossible to me).

If we were to use Minelab's schematic/hex-file/whateveryounameit that would make sense and we would be violating a copyright (completely understood).
But how can you copyright a combination of hardware and software that has infinite parameters and has nothing to do with your original design?

I mean it makes no sense or I don't think that's even possible, no matter how much money you spend on patents (I guess?!)

                * (or most probably not worth the money/time/effort to sue someone in Iran who you don't even know the real name of)

                • Has someone managed to make a version without a power supply?
What sample depths do your Pulse Star have?

Howard (the QED designer) has the bad habit of trowing trash against other brands, which he did a number of times on various forums especially against Minelab, because he believes trowing mud on someone else's face will make him look good (classic village mentality), but that's exactly what got him into trouble with Minelab, not the claims that he has made a better PI.

Changing the hardware of any detector 10% or more will inhibit just about any patent if the changes lead to measurable improvement (short of those protecting the source code).
So go ahead and make an "excellent machine" if you can, just stay away from the measuring dicks routine as this will open can of worms that may be too much to swallow.

Master KT315 has bring / gathering all of his data here, he's our hero! Take a look on countless positive side of his, please pull that words out! You need to understand how detector works, if you already done, you can share whichever has errors.
