sniffer xr71 no sound

Hello all and thank you for the wonderful job you're doing, i have built sniffer xr71 and it did not output any sound except for when i put a speaker in the coil plug and the trimpot inside the board in the bottom left seems to control just fine also another potentiometer in the front panel, what i did so far is replace the mc14538 with cd4538 and mc14066 with hcf4066 and hef4066، no apparent shorts or lines that are cut, juice is 6 x lithium and 6s bms and stepdown converter to 12v.
Any help debugging and fixing the machine will be much appreciated and have a good day

Hello All, i hope you're enjoying those found treasures cause i'm not . i'm really struggling with my box and delta family is honestly way too advanced for my skills to diagnose but it will work eventually.
this is my second build and it did not work too even though i made sure the soldering is clean and checked the components before soldering, could be bad ic maybe. I found few days ago an invisible cut in one of the lines and fixed it and went through the whole board to check for shorts or disconnected lines all good as far as i know. i tried MR kt315 solution but nothing changed i have attached SC of the short i made to pin 7 of 555 (i hope i've done it right).
The sound when i put speaker in coil output works even with removing all ics except for the 556n and by mistake when i was checking the ics i have installed one of the 082 in the lf357 socket it got a little hot so i put it aside and got replacement i hope i did not damage the machine more with this mistake...what else to say nothing is hot or out of order to my knowledge i can't tell you voltage is good because i don't know the vital and important values to check for i hope you follow up with me on this stubborn "case" and thank you in advance.

first rule you must buy bare board from very reliable source and don't trust anyone pics layouts you see in global net.

REMEMBER ONE THING IN YOUR LIFE - they are just the TRASH with massive mistakes made by naive lammers.

if you do yourself - seek whole mistakes yourself. did you do economy on the pack of cigaretts and one drink of russian vodka? it's the case.
check layout pic, check every component before soldering, check soldering and REMEMBER - no one kt315 will not help you never if you do mistakes on every step.

thank you brother i have printed the first pcb myself and bought the second from a little printing company i sent them pdfs. and i have not made one single mistake except the one i made about 1 am while i was still trying with this box of garage for many hours forgive my body for being tired and thanks for the great help.

can't just walk in and buy metal detector where i'm from bro it's illegal.
I've made it this far don't team up with bad luck on me and those advises were too generic with all do respect.

ok. this is turkish layout... you have to check all wires connected points/pads at top side. i think you did not do them.

Is your design/detector successful? I used to use this device a lot. It works. But its search depth is less than a foot. So I stopped that project

Not yet brother i'm working on it currently, doing everything by the book as they say almost everything seems to work fine except that i can't get sound and detection to start tweaking from there.
iam not getting current on coil output less than one volt when i measure so i do not know if it's normal thing or iam missing something i keep changing op amps and checking the voltage because that's all i can do after ive built this big circuit lol and checking/comparing with the files that kt315 sent me everything seems in order so far except that it is not because if it was simply the device would work fine so i must be missing something. you should probably try power source with a little more amps, try other J-FETs, and especially make couple of coils with measures from here or the delta pulse docs because it should alot more powerful than a foot..and good luck whether you're resuming that or not.

ok. you have not a sound... this is NE555 classic circuit with nothing specific. i had opened especial thread with all kind of checking of op-maps etc chips...
you go later and do not see. i had gave the hits many times.

very bad you are not able to check NE555. you learn electronics doing DP and on DP... while you must begin from simplest circuits getting experience. bad bad bad...
