ok. you have not a sound... this is NE555 classic circuit with nothing specific. i had opened especial thread with all kind of checking of op-maps etc chips...
you go later and do not see. i had gave the hits many times.

very bad you are not able to check NE555. you learn electronics doing DP and on DP... while you must begin from simplest circuits getting experience. bad bad bad...

iam very sorry to bother you my brother i will work on the 555 chip check it and replace it and try to fix it's circuit area if there's errors and thank you you are very helpful also brother i love metal detectors i have made a few including pi polones and felezjoo before but i really wanted to go more pro with delta pulse because i've seen videos and loved how it works and i assumed if i go by the exact schematic and exact parts it should work fine, this is always a part of the diy machines sometimes they don't work and you have to fix them not so much fun but i'm hoping it will be a nice experience and more knowledge and lessons for me in the future. thank you and all geotech family and i hope i post better news soon with my md working.

FIRST MAIN RULE. Solder just NE555 on bare board, solder resistors and capacitors with it neighbour, connect a power supply, connect speaker, get the sound.
you seems just waste a much time not able to fix a bug.

I appreciate everything you helped with, it actually helped ALOT as i followed your instructions and tested the timer, got a really faint sound you could barely hear which led me to trace the issue and found bad potentiometer which is for the volume. the lowest i have in my stock is 5k i installed it and it's working fine i hope it doesn't pose an issue. now i have that beautiful sound when i touch around the timer and it gets faster to become the known tone. no sensitivity yet i have tested an old coil didn't work and i have a big 1m diameter coil that i've used before with felezjoo fine, that made the mosfet hot so i'll make a test coil or an official one with measurements proper for delta and see how it goes from there i wouldn't ve got far without your help and guidance for sure.

i do not see the standart reaction of DP work... sure seems you are just on start position of your longest way to first result (((
coil for DP has to be 500-550 uH, but just for the test, not for fields job, you can use any L value - from 150 and above.

i appreciate all the help and i consider getting the sound is progress, i found a video on youtube tracing the voltage for dp2 the original not sniffer and all the parts and pins that are identical i have voltage fine. some places he tested were delta specific not in sniffer. if possible to maybe someone point me to which area is suspected for not detecting the coil or getting sensitivity or tell me if there's any source that's tracing voltage in this forum or anywhere i have downloaded many docs none discusses my issue and i'm aware that its big circuit but i'm confident it will be hopefully fixed after all it should be maybe one component or something that's causing this issue and thank you for all the effort it really did help
ps for the turkish forum i've had issues trying to join i did not receive confirmation email. i'm gonna try it again tonight.

My brother, i have managed to get the machine work eventually . It was ANOTHER bad potentiometer the 10k one and i spent couple of hours trying different 082 op amps and playing with pots the range varies but within 80cm with the small testing coil on a big object relatively. Still good because im still learning it's settings and it gets good depth sometimes when i change pots. I know some machines will work but never get decent depth mine looks fine no heating components or anything and everything looks healthy, i have gone through the forum today and found someone saying diodes could be the reason i checked them and changed the mosfet put irf740 but it was the 10k potentiometer, i suspect the reason is hot glue got inside them when i screwed them in the box. It's around 2 am here just finished with the md but tomorrow i'll post video, my plan next is look for different lf357n pieces, more tl082 until i get it working at it's best then I'll go to the discrimination circuit and lcd part and the big frame job. Hopefully everything goes smoothly. I appreciate everything you helped with and all the time you put replying.

I don't remember, but I see that I am mentioned. It was probably some kind of instant debate with slightly harder words.
I abandoned that tendency, somehow I got bored of it all.
Why should I prove anything to someone or defend some positions, what do I get out of it in real life?
Now that I look back; i regret ever taking part in any debate.
It's all so frivolous.
Delta Pulse is a good hobby project. But everything has already been said on those topics. I don't know what else could be said.
People who have questions on the subject; they already have all the answers on that topic.
The problem is only in the willingness to read in order and to find the answer.
Somehow it's always easier to ask questions over and over again.

Not yet brother i'm working on it currently, doing everything by the book as they say almost everything seems to work fine except that i can't get sound and detection to start tweaking from there.
iam not getting current on coil output less than one volt when i measure so i do not know if it's normal thing or iam missing something i keep changing op amps and checking the voltage because that's all i can do after ive built this big circuit lol and checking/comparing with the files that kt315 sent me everything seems in order so far except that it is not because if it was simply the device would work fine so i must be missing something. you should probably try power source with a little more amps, try other J-FETs, and especially make couple of coils with measures from here or the delta pulse docs because it should alot more powerful than a foot..and good luck whether you're resuming that or not.

Actually I did this project with great interest.But I could not increase the search depth..I think there might be something hidden in this device. I think your sound problem is a glitch caused by a minor mistake..
If you continue to do this project, I would like to contact you and make this a success
