Surf PI Pro - 10 AA NiMH Cells?

I meant to say 4-3.6 cells. 18650 this are really reliable battery's as they are in laptop battery packs and my cordless battery packs i use in my construction saws and things. i could also use a low priced charging set up with a jack.
Gang, didnt think 4 volts would make that much difference, it usually doesn't in all the other things i do,
i tested 8 brand new AA cells, and the pack was 13.8 volts, that's why i was asking my 18650 pack would only be 3 volts more.guess i will have to check all parts for voltage values or just forget about it and just use 3 cells

good evening, me, on my surf or on my IDX, I use 3x 18650 of 2500mah 11.1 v nominal. then, insert a voltage booster xl6099 of 4Amp adjusted to 13.5v .. working at the top!
