  • Help to design a PCB for my PI design!

    Hi friends,

I've designed a PI with ATmega8 and a 2*20 LCD. It works very stable... (Excellent depth...2 to 3 times more than HH).
At a noisy invironment(also a prototype noisy PCB) it detects a gold ring(1g) at 22cm with a 3" coil! (also the coil inductance is low 250uH)

But who would like to design a PCB for it?

I am very very busy these days...and have a lot of troubles... I can only draw a bad schematic for it...

    Best regards,
    1843

I forgot to say that its easy to either design and build. The output of preamp(5534) is directly fed to the uC's ADC.
There are no analog sampling, switch, VCO, etc.

      Hi 1843
Are your test result on workbench or on the ground?
      Best regards.

        Hi Aft,
Workbench... there are a lot of noise here, Unfortunately I live in an apartment and can't goto an open area.

        To others:
It may someone think I'm willing to make money by that... No! it's 100% free.

        Best regards,

          Hi 1843

Consider that when you test on the earth may be you will have more
Falls signals . seem as your devices designed at high sensitivity and that
Will produce instability on the ground.
          Best regards.

            Hi 1843,

            It is very interested,
One atmega PI can be a good point to make nice and powerfull PI MD,
Please put some photo and schematic and source code of avr that you use,
your write this code by C or Basic ?
            we waiting for you... dear,

            have a nice day...zenit52

First its Gain isn't more than SD2000 or Deltapulse. Second a GB solves the problems!

              Thanks for your interest!
              The schematic is not drawn yet;
Neither, the source code is in Assembly language and I don't contribute it.

                How about a competition

You post the schematic and source code here and we see who can post best PCB design.

How does your design cope with Dickspy problem.

                  Hi 1843,

Did you use Pulse width modulation (PWM) technique in atmega8
programing for produce necessary pulses to drive tx signal in your
                  MD coil ?
please share your source code in Assembly language....

I Want build such as this PI MD with atmega ....
Please give us more information about it ...
                  with best regards...zenit52

                              Hi,
When Timer1 is needed I don't use PWM...
In this PI I use both the PWM and simple active delay-loops to produce two different pulses...like Minelab!

If you want to learn proggramming there are a lot of educational kits and books for AVR...

                              Best regards,
