Looking for a '76 Bounty Hunter Big Bud Manual

Hi all,

My father gave me a 1976 Bounty Hunter "Big Bud", that unfortunately he let a family friend barrow some time ago. While, he got the detector back he did not get the manual back. Can anyone point me toward an electronic copy of the manual or scan their own? I was told the original manufacturer is out of business so that will not help me.

Thanks sinclair, but I looked at that page already, it is not showing the manual for the detector I have. 1976 is a rough date as to when he bought it. Also the name of the detector is "Bounty Hunter Big Bud" nothing before nothing after. I assumed they just quit making that model.

Can I find any other identifying information anywhere? I looked on the control box, the head and the rod, hoping to maybe find a stamp in the metal. I guess I'm just SOL.

Your metal detector was made in 1986, from what I read. Lost treasure has a field test report, that might help you.
