AN/PSS-12 Mine Detector

Hello colleagues, I have millitary PI AN/PSS-12 Mine Detector coil and I would like to make it work but I don't know which schematic to follow. Is it possible for me to make it from scratch using microcontrollers and will it work relatively good? Please, give me some hints Thank you all in advance!
