          • Hi,

Did anybody try to apply the second-tone mod described here https://www.geotech1.com/forums/show...157#post156157?

I am not sure I understand the circuit's behaviour correctly (page 3 of the document above), but it seems the author mixed AllMet with Disc mode functionality. In particular, the AllMet mode starts sound differently depends on Disc setting (originally AllMet have no relation to the Disc knob). As result you may highlight the sound of Iron while in AllMet mode - I think this could be very useful.

So, did anyone tried this, is it useful? Please, could you share the mod scheme for Cibola/Vaquero (original mod is for TGS)?

            Thanx!

              Hi SLED,
I don't have access to russian site, I can only read the thread.
              There is written:
              3,3 ÎœF. -13,87 kHz.
              2,2 ÎœF. -14,02 kHz.
              1 MKF. -14,55 kHz.
Therefore try to change 3,3uF with 1uF.

Please, can you update the simulation? Thanks in advance.

Running the simulator I obtain these results:

                  • Hi everyone!
I'm buying all the materials to make Cibola and I'm redoing the PCB.
                    However, I have doubts.
How exactly should the BAV99s be connected?

Furthermore, in all the diagrams seen, pin 5 of the 4053 (U12) is free. I think it should be connected to ground instead. I am wrong?

                    Please, can anyone help me?

Pin 5 should be left disconnected.

                              • No one has been doing such aerial *tests* for a long time. It is necessary to demonstrate the operation of the device in the ground. And not in artificial holes, but as it really is. You take the device and start walking around the field with it. Then we will see how good or bad he is...
