    Hi GSL, Good job !

Yes I know, but I want to have a look at the code to see what it does exactly.
Bad idea ... A flowchart is enough.

Well... I disagree. Source code is nice because you can learn from it.

            I agree too!
Is it an original firmware or a remake?

                @GSL
Thanks for the pictures !! Very great job!!

You are on youtube ? so i am looking forward to see (hear) a video from your working Cibola I am very curious about the sound.

I am planning to build the Cibola too. But I want to wait until the PIC is completely tested, and integrated on the PCB.

By the way, that would be another good project for Silverdog PCB´s and Kits .....

                Regards

This is not my video of the device, but made my colleague Vlaser under this scheme with my firmware 2.4.1

Thanks for sharing the links! On the youtube video i can only HEAR the Cibola ..... I thought that the the pic measure the detected signal amplitude and give a proportional volume, but it is the same sound like on my Bandido SMD .....

I am looking forward to see a video from your cibola.

                    • A few people on here are not great with uprocessors. If a reasonable design was found without uprocessors Im sure it would have a wider audience.

Ive looked at the sibola and trimmed it back to basics. Feel free to kick it about as Im certain its, sub optimal..

I thingk the tone would be on all the time! It needs a tweak - just for architecture than absolute.

                      • Having a bit of a problem figuring out why my 10 turn GB needs to be cranked CW to around 6.8K to balance out. All 4 of my coils balance to within 3/4 turn of each other. R-39 checks out as 30K. Seems like something else is out of tolerance or something. Maybe the 5V regulator is off? Would like to get the 10 turn pot more centered. Where should I be looking? Don't want to lower R-39 to compensate without finding out why it's so far off.
                        Any ideas?
                        Thanks!

                        • I went ahead and piggy backed a 68K resistor on R-39 to bring it down to around 20K. That got the GB almost two turns towards center. I put it back together. Am still very curious why it would be so far off? Everything works fine with no depth loss. Why do the V's 3 turn GB's all seem to center perfectly?
