    Hi,

which version of Cibola is testet, and works now? SMD Version postet by @GSL or "normal" Version routed by ivconic.
Has anyone had experience whith the performance of this Detektor?

    regards

Several people from the Russian forum made devices working on my SMD version. On the board there are no errors.
Now I try to do the full version of the microprocessor.
Have a working test result.Click image for larger version

This is a very interesting project.

Do you have the GB and DISC parts of this design working correctly? A few months ago I examined the Tesoro Tejon design (which has some similarities to the Cibola) and found that the full-wave sync demod was not working properly. There appeared to be several errors in the schematic, which I concluded were due to probems with the back-engineering. Eventually I redesigned the sample filters and got something that would gorund balance and discriminate, but abandoned the project due to other more important work.

How much of this have you got working?

Unlike Tesoro Theon this scheme did testing real board Cibola from point to point. Therefore, almost no errors. Scheme tested several electronic engineers. I did the circuit board. The GB and DISC parts of this design working correctly

N@SKO: thanks for sharing this project!

@GSL: what is the purpose of the PIC processor in the schematic? is it any better than the IC version? Thanks.

PIC processor used in all Tesoro for sound. In Cibola processor switches modes All metal / Discrim. In Tejon also used an additional mode Vco

Thanks! I don't really see any benefits for using a PIC processor in the sound chain.

It is usually used to scare copycats into believing that there is something to it

does the pic measure the detected signal amplitude and give a proportional volume

besides the HEX file you posted, is there any source code available for the PIC? Thanks.

                            For PIC need only hex.

Yes I know, but I want to have a look at the code to see what it does exactly.
