My kids have GC1036 non-motion detector and today i had some extra time - it was time to open that little detector look what is inside.
Here is all 4 ICs: 4070 quad XOR, 324, 4069 inverter and CA3140
Coil: concernic coil, RX transmitting 20.8 ... 20.9 khz. unshielded. 3 capasitors inside. half filled with epoxy.
Buttons: volume adj., disc adj., tune adj. and tune button.
This detector is made in china and probably copy of some other MD. Maybe some old VLF T/R from 80's?
it have really good detection distance, about 2" ... 3" for coins.
Anyone have schematic for this?
