Ok I understand You are a busy man . Could You tell just a little more about those tests, maximum range for typical subjects in air, is it masking works fine-better compare to Classic`s/IDx? I can`t find any info about those two coils at the PCB (L1 and L2), this big red cappacitor what kind of is, and what about connections to pots/switches?

      Hello Ivica,

are there any news about the 6000? I would really like to build this one being sure that it's worth it.

I decided to give this project a try. Etched Ivconic's PCB layout, made some minor changes during soldering and used IDX-Pro selfmade 27DD coil. First result is detection of 1€ coin more than 30cm. More tests will be made soon.

Hi, put some pictures of your work. Detection in air for IDX is better , but in soil 6000 will beet idx because he has 4filters and it`s more dynamic. I`m curious about discrimination. I wanted to make this project too , but this size of pcb and drillings scares me a little. Lately on md4u.ru shows up a SMD version of 6000...
          regards.

Me again. I want to power this MD by 3 cells of li-ions, like my other projects. It gives power supply in range ~10.2-12,6V. What i should change in converter circut to be working ok. Or maybe better will by using 2 cells..? I`m not sure but I think using 3 cells this md may be less power consumpting.
