          Two microcontrollers, multiple batteries, diac, and no gain stage? ... My head hurts!

          PICKINI does the same decay time measurement scheme more elegantly.

              Yea, pretty weird to spend a lot of money on an expensive high resolution ADC without amplifying and filtering its input.
