    • Hi,
I'm looking for a fuses programming specialist ...
I'm trying to burn few chips with the good fuses, the write operation seems to be ok but when i read fuses after burning,
i get the wrong value for FUSEBYTE4 (I read 0xEF instead of 0xEE).
I'm using atmel studio with ATMEL ICE programmer. The chip is a ATXMEGA32A4.

      • No need extra fuses configuration . I use avrstudio 4 /AVR Studio 4.19 and up/ and avrisp MKII . Mole in programing mode power from USB , reset and everything works .

Ok, thanks but at the bottom of the author's page, there is a screen copy of the fuses with FUSE0=0xFF, FUSE1=0x00, FUSE2= 0x7F, FUSE4=0xEE and FUSE5=0xEA

          • My MCU is ATXMEGA32A4-AU . Screen copy of the fuses shows ATXMEGA32A4 , they are different MCU

            • My unit works good. There was a bad soldering joint on the MCU ...
I'm getting lost with all those differents MCUs and fuses ...
Tomorow, i'll build the coil and let's go for the rush !!

              Thanks

              • Hi,
I just finished the whole detector. The coil isn't filled with epoxy till it's not tuned properly.
I woul like to have advises about the tuning methode.
I built the coil like this :
                TX: 45turns of 0.4mm magnetic wire (L=1.06mH, R=3.6ohms) C= 300nF
                RX: 200turns of 0.15mm magnetic wire (L=22.8mH, R=127ohms) c=22nF
I noticed that in the setup menu, there is an aututune function. It gives me 9389HZ.
On the oscillocope, i can see the DAC SIN output very clearly. The output of the output AMP is about 2 volts (AC).
Now, i don't realy know how to tune RX circuit. Could someone explain me the differents steps ?
I can help people programming chips but i don't have successfull experience on coil nulling for the moment.
                I'll share pictures later..
Thanks a lot for any help

                • RX is auto Tunne coil without resonance . Before starting work with the device RX and TX must be set up abaut max 0.2 v on gain 2 ,HPF4 . I think that L=1.06mH It is too small inductance for Tx . 1:10 inductance should be properly. There are various methods for setting the Rx Tx . The most simple is shifting to one another .

                  • OK, thanks for info,
For the TX inductance, i use the one from post #8.

When you say that "RX is auto Tunne coil", do you mean that the capacitor for RX is not needed ? I have to make more tests on this.
                    What does HPF means ?
I have a word file but google translator is not so accurate ..

                    • For RX is not needed extra capacitor. Changes only C1 and get different frequencies . HPF in menu - this is the level of sensitivity. For room test recomendet set 4 .

                      • Mole-2 is now able to work on two frequencies simultaneously! Details here. http://www.radiodom.org/index/krot2_dfkh/0-21

                            • You have no mole sensor shows 300 mV? This is bad! It must be near zero. Look for errors, and wash the PCB.

                              • There is no coil yet. Is that why ? I shall look for errors tonight.
