In the past, some people asked me, by private message, about my files for this detector. Here is what I have made. For coil parameters, please look at Andrew's site!
Both versions are actually working fine with K2-G-S6 firmeware.

My favorite is SMD version and I wonder, why many people have doubts, about to made a pcb in SMD, because all tools which you need, in addition to a DIP work station, is a cheap head magnifying glass, a cranked pinzette and a pointed soldering tip, which you should cold forge from time to time, so that she stays pointed. I do not like to waste money, for expensive equipment.
But of course, DIP is more easy to do for beginners, but this here is not a project for beginners, in my opinion.

My main problem is my sight, getting weaker in time.
Also my nervous hands, shaking more and more in time.
That's why i would rather avoid such works as much as i can.
Otherwise i don't have anything else against SMD.
On contrary; i am sure it has more advantages and benefits,
Yet...
I have Weller Magnastat... it would not be a problem to obtain extra narrow tip for it.
I don't have proper magnifying glass yet, must obtain some soon.
If there is no other way; SMD it will be.

I agree with you and I have only since some years experiences with SMD.
Btw I need a magnifying glass also for DIP,*forgive me but I'm already an old man.

mc34119 You can find at BELIELEKTRONIK.RS, atXmega32 and mcp601 at STORE.COMET.RS (because without those parts krot wont work propperly),
by the way, for tqfp soldering magical word is soldering flux (ok 2 words)

Is there any correct fuse should i use, programed and verify sucessfully, my board only show blank square dot and continous beep sound, using mr.blobber dip board mod.

Im not use lcd and not make the coil yet, but when i put 5v battery its make a sound and when i short the button its make a tick sound.
By reading bernte_one post i can use cheap 1602 lcd hd44780 with 5v voltage supply, i'm right?
Im not sure about 2n2 NP0 caps that must use, i use multilayers caps for now, cant find 2n2 NP0 anywhere

Ripsdevala is it so difficult to backup (RAR, ZIP) two files and upload them here in the forum. Why should I do registration somewhere so I can see what you show us?

Hi,
I use studio 5, and diy avrisp, avrisp mkII is detected can read and write, proper 3.3 voltage, and use avr programing button. Is there any configuration i dont know?
