Hello everyone
since i entered this forum i decide to make Surf Pi Pro so i did search but for sorry i didn't made well search
so after i made my MD i faced a lot a lot of troubles first it was dead no any signal then after a lot of working it become gives all beeeb all the time with or without coil
and at last and finally i got it worked but with very low range so it can detect medium object at about 8 cm only !!
i searched all over the forum and found that everyone made this MD faced this problems some of them give up and left it
and some works for them good
so iam posting this thread for those people who their MD worked with them correctly to help us and give us their success try
here is the schematic i worked from and PCB

and this is the updates i made with my MD
to help all those who have problems with their Surf Pi MD
my Readings in volt is

4066 has 5V on pin 14
4066 has -4,59V on pin 6, 8, 9 unused part
4066 has -4,59V on pin 7 and when i measure pin 11 it gives small beeb
358 has 4.99V on pin 8
358 has -4.68V on pin 4

Notes : this values could be right or wrong until someone confirm it for us
iam using coil with diameter 20cm ,0.4 ,22 turn
you can also check that your 555 pulse works good by using this method from "WM6"
" you can build your own simple audio testing utility out of an old small speaker or earpiece (nominal R from 8 to 32 Ohms) some insulated cable wire, testing clamp to connect to ground of your Surf PI, one resistor of 1kOhm and testing probe (you can made out of some hard insulate wire). Look at drawing:

After building your audio testing utility, test your TLC555 first (test probe at pin 3 of TLC555, clamp at one of Ground points). If TLC555 works properly you need to hear loud tone from your audio utility. "
Please guys who made this MD and worked for them please tell us everything included clear photos of your circuits
sorry for long article
