  • old schematic

I found an old schematic of a metal detetor 60s. would like to know if it would work and if it can be compared (performance) with other DIY metal present in this forum.

I would also indicated a simple schematic, easy to build, with discrimination and that it is easy to calibrate.
I also accept schematics containing pic of the 16 series that have good performance

    P.S
    I have a a Surfmaster PI homebuilt
    thanks, sorry for the English!

Probably, its a BFO MD, not really good in most cases.

after Surf PI working bult to turn back to primitive BFO is not so right. I offer to pay attention on something more productive.
leave it... do not waste a time...

        thanks for the Answers

you could tell me a good project, not difficult to calibrate, with good performance and with the possibility to discriminate?

also with pic( and relative code), since I started to program them (series 12f and 16f)

i also thinking to clone whites XLT but based on more modern micro, so it would be not much expensive for my friend Mohandes in Iran.
try something get from silverdog's site.

Look around, many to choose from, KT's suggestion of the Surf PI is a good one, it's analog and does not discriminate, but lots of people like it.
