    Hi Khaled,

first of all, there is NO "deepest PI detector on the market", because it almost all depends on the coil size you use. Basically, you can turn any PI detector project from the Geotech forum into the "deepest PI on the market" by simply using a large frame coil and modifying the circuit to match the coil specifications.

I think very deep PI is possible with a special design.
This issue can only be achieved with a different coil design.
It doesn't matter whether the coil is big or small.
People are walking around with 1x1m very inefficient coils. It's a completely futile effort.
Still, an object 10cm from 5m is impossible.

The limitations are the maximum Flyback voltage, maximum power consumption, maximum delay to first sample.
A square current wave TX design allows for more turns of wire, shorter delay and lower power consumption.

          Hi
many thanks for your great assistance & useful feedback
my request of maximum deep detection value is around 6 meters for hot rocks & high minerals soil ( volcanic ground )
kindly ,can anybody specify a detector name in the market or handmade design for this purpose

          Thanks in advance
          .

The basic rule of thumb is that one ton (1000 Kg) of steel or iron will give us a 1nT anomaly at 100 ft. or 30m. Since the amount of distortion falls off as the cube with distance (compare a metal detector which falls off as the inverse 6th power!) and is linear with mass, every time we cut the distance in half, we can see 1/8th the mass. Therefore, we can sense 250 lbs. (100kg) at 50 feet (15m), or 30lbs (15kg) at 25 feet (8m), or 4lbs (2kg) at 12 feet (4m).

The difference is that the magnetometer makes a passive measurement, and the metal detector makes an active measurement.

                          Could it be fluxgate magnetometers?

                            Dear All

Many thanks for your kind assistance and help

i already have two metal detectors : GP 4500 and felezjoo pi
how about use them with 2 meter X 2 meter cable coil in order to reach the required depth ( 5 meters ) , target sizes (( length &width more than 60cm, hight more than 40 cm ).
which one will be useful .
by the way these are my options :

P 4500 & the Iranian felezjoo pi had their own 2 meter X 2 meter cable coil from there manufacturer
a second option is to purchase one of the attached devices ( VEGA and REX LAND CRAFT ) with their own 2 meter X 2 meter cable coil.
also , i had found another Bulgarian devices named : Detech ssp 5100 , Golden Mask Deep Hunter Pro 3 which have their own 2 meter X 2 meter cable coil

please , advise for the correct device so i can proceed for purchasing it.

With all the best for this forum members

                            Waiting for yours kind replies

                              hi

i forget to mention the magnetometers detectors , can they do the job for above mentioned deep detection

                              Best Regards

Firstly, as kt315 [jokingly] says, your goal is definitely in LRL territory. Or, to put it another way ... it's just a dream.

Not only that, as a beginner in electronics, and with no experience of using microcontrollers, you're setting yourself an impossible task.
I would strongly suggest that you get yourself a copy of ITMD and read it thoroughly before proceeding ->
