    Qiaozhi,

I did,but i read the Forum in Dutch, maybe that is the problem.
Message 42:Nobody is perfect, check before you make it and tell use if it work.
Message 44:Yes,i have check it with schematic Tesoro Diablo Gold Demon by Fabian and WM6 (2014).

      I again reminder you http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showt...ow-to-IB-coils
if you do not learn this metodic to balance a coil your chance to get working Diablo-Lobo is equal ZERO.

you have to use a translator... and your head.

small error on nakky PCB 4024 chip has pin 10 connected in stead of pin 9 pin 10 is not internally connected and will stop the circuit from working as pin 9 also clocks the 7660 chip.

found another error nakky the reason is i am building your board at the moment and power up batt test not working found it to be 4053 pin 5 27k reistor should go to pin 7 and not pin 6 of LM392 otherwise looking good.

I have just finished building the the board modified to run 60khz so far works well bit of drift problem but cancels out ferrite and picks up small gold nugget at about 4cm hope to improve that.
this is the lt spice values i worked out for the front end. I am designing this as a nugget finder to pick up the smallest piece of gold at a good distance not to pick up a coin at half a meter so i made a small coil only about 240mm long by about 120mm wide with a new experimental coil design i am playing with it incorporates a double transmitter coils with the receiver coil sandwiched between windings i will explain better if it works out.

can this tesoro detector be ground ballanced to work on wet sand ????

I am not sure the diablo 2 has 3 ground balance settings possible i have not gotten that far yet as to select the components for the right phase shifts i would think with right component selection could be done. I am very surprised with this detector i am able to pick up a small gold nugget about .45gm at about 100mm now and it is still not fully setup
I am not sure if it is my new coil design or how it normally behaves.

if someone wanted to use say 20 khz transmit would the tesoro coils like lobo and tejon work with the diablo.

well all i can say is as long as you can tune for resonance on the transmit coil and you have enough turns on the receive coil should work i have guessed turns many times on my metal detectors and i find as long as you use the right capacitor to tune you can make it work although it is not the optimum way to go i can't say i noticed a lot of difference i used 20 turns parallel in 2 coils for this 60khz transmit coil and i can't remember the exact capacitor value i have about 4 caps in parallel to get it to tune right i believe the diablo is running the same coil as the lobo its just a cut down version of lobo but 20khz is the standard frequency for them i redesigned it for 60khz to make it more sensitive to gold, if you want 20khz just use the standard circuit values but i think i could make it work at 60khz with standard coil.

Hi Doom44. In an old post, you put a draw of a Hi definition sound circuit. I think that it can work with the Diablo, ¿Can you explain a little more about it for dummies? Where to connect in de Metal Detector circuit, etc and your experiences about that...

diablo is lite ver of lobo, just all metal part of second. yup, lobo coil must work on diablo.
                              also... attached

yes fabian was a while back since did any work with the VCO circuit nice layout you did there connections depend on the detector you are using it with I will do some experiments with it and get back to you might test it on this circuit
