made first this pcb (grey ,not mine) and works good with good sens (i use it in pinpoint with ferrite core coil)
then after this i made an other pcb inpired by the first to fit inside small pvc pipe diam 20mm and..... don t work!!!!!
exactely the same componant ,same coil perhaps i made mistake in pcb routing???
some one may have look?

I see your long PCB was prepared under the scheme ver. 2. I see no reason not to board work. Check whether transistor T1 is set correctly as below. On your plate not shown its location. There was little difference in the inductance of the coil, but it can not cause the detector may not work.
Are you sure that the processor is programmed with the correct hex file.
What frequency measuring pin 5 of the CPU.Comment

sorry i made mistake, i ve erased the t1 transistor but only in layout i placed it correctly on pcb ,i m going to burn an other pic with hex file again maybe it ll be the soluce?????
i will tell you the frequency after that (i haven t my pickit2 on hand, i have lended it at a friend)

i ve flashed the pic with new firmware it works on the first i ve made (the upper one) but not with the other (long pcb and propointer shaped)
so rhaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!! i don t know why!!!!!!!!
i have 3.5v on twice pcb pin 1 of the pic and thats all

I have remastered the MalishFM2 V2 but my version not work also!
No sound, only some blink on leds.
I have checked the master and it is OK.
PIC seems well programmed.

I ve fix it
It was only a wrong piezzo élément and a wrong led placement but there is an another big problèmes it is too sensitive on EMI even far from it son will try to make minimax PP wich is quiest then malysh

working setup is:
- MalishFM2 V2 Eddy71 schematic
- my master design
- PIC12F675
- loaded firmware is MetFM2_675_v2.hex (2 june 2015)
Here some pictures:
When switched on no sound come out, leds are blinking. Nothing other happen.
These are what oscope see on PIC pins:
Are there someone who help me to understand why it does not function?

I'm not sure in what I see in the picture, but it seems that the screen covers the entire coil. There must be a small interval of about 0.3-0.5 sentiments that the screen stays open.Originally posted by Altair View PostHi everyone!
