  • Detectorpro Pocket Uniprobe

Got an old used and not fully working Uniprobe Pinpointer, as i hear it is no more on Production.
Made some test with this broken unit, was also sensitiv to small gold, and good range for big Objects.
    Coil is around 550µH.

Hope i can make a re-work and would need some help.

Looks like a nice one to reverse engineer. Let us know if you come up with a schematic for it!

maybe one of our friends here which speaks english as mother language can contact detectorpro and ask them for schematic
would be very kind if they can help us

the pocket uniprobe is no more in production
so earlier or later the scheme will appear somewhere for repairing the older

the one i got has over used potentiometers and i think according to the time the detector was in use the condensators will need a Service

            so why not ask them

              got the answer quik:

"Sorry we don't give out schematics
              "

I think that we need better photos... More aligned and clearer than these, but I think that we can do it. Perhaps some components changed for troughhole for me (hard to find SMD components here) ¿Got the coil specs?

thinking Mr.Bill has output on the designer. but you know Bernd... Mr.Bill is out of game... he is only dealer and unactive in our field.
your project is nice... I see DIP-4 mos-fet, this reminders me that Pocket is working on short PULSE WIDTH.
                  interesting schematic for realize...

Fabian dont make any more work on adapting the layout to sprint layout or somewhere else

i have this done to 80% most tracks and holes are already captures bottom and top

i need just to fit in all parts with correct values, after that you can spent your work to genarated a good schematic

if i spent one hour each evening i could finish my part at the middle next week

Ok. I have no experience of reversing schematics from the start, but I'm here to learn and enjoy, so I will try to do it. I'll wait for your PCB.

                      Regards,

low power masterpiece by EF or a copy of his work, have a look at gqss/cs6

gqss=GoldQuest SS, cs6=C-scope 6 pi, photos of both and a schematic of cs6 somewhere on geotech, should be easy to find

Eric Foster, of course, just compare the pcb of your detector with gqss, they are very similar, exactly the same strategy...
