  • Mineoro 08MI Shematic

    Hello everyone!
First, sorry for my bad english. I Got a old mineoro two boxes 08MI damaged. The board is oxidized and some components are loose because they were removed in an attempt to repair. I think I have all the original components. I will make new board and I wanted to know if anyone has the schematic or board photos so I could find the correct location of components.
    Please help me!

may be you need to move off on another forum. http://www.longrangelocators.com/for...ad.php?t=13390

At first I thought the Mineoro 08MI was simply another 2-box detector, but (reading the description on another site) I've come to the conclusion that your question would best be answered at www.longrangelocators.com (as suggested by kt315). The description includes claims of great detection distances, the ability to find tiny nuggets, and also diamonds and precious stones. So this is clearly a form of LRL, which we do not discuss here in the Geotech forums.

        Thanks kt315 and Qiaozhi!
I thought it was a two boxes, no LRL!
So you consider their operation dubious?

There have been previous discussions at www.longrangelocators.com concerning the Mineoro 08MI. Some people (who claim to know about these detectors) say that it works on the electrostatic (ionic) principle, which definitely marks it as an LRL. Whichever way you look at it, the 08MI is not a standard 2-Box. I still think the discussion needs to be moved to the LRL site. Also, a dead giveaway is the statement "NOT DOWSING" on the 08MI advert. Why say that?

This was part of the description I found on the internet:

"Model 08MI can be used to locate gold, silver, copper and metals. It may also be used to find precious and semiprecious stones and diamonds using the method of comparing the electric field of the earth around an object with the field just above the object."

            Thanks for the information, Qiaozhi.
Anyway, I will try to repair. If successful, I will do tests and see what it detects.
As this is a LRL if it works I'll post my impressions in the appropriate forum (http://www.longrangelocators.com) but give news of the results.

Mineoro 08MI is a typical 2Box detector, nothing else.

Thanks Geo. I was hoping that someone else would jump in with more information.

However, some of the claims for this device do make it sound like an LRL, such as the detection of "precious and semiprecious stones and diamonds using the method of comparing the electric field of the earth around an object with the field just above the object". Also, why do they state "NOT DOWSING" in the advert? No other 2-box manufacturer does that.

                  Because Mineoro is Mineoro....
If 08MI can work as a lrl then many other 2 box detectors like Gemini3 can work as LRL also.
