  • XP GMP problem

    Hello All
Looking for schematics XP Goldmaxx (v4 or 3). If anyone have and can issue whole or fragments I'll be glad.
It's failed LDO (SOT233) - probably TK715xxAS (signet as 26T) -maybe TK71526AS and next, signed as 25M (SOT23 too) - maybe TK71525AS. Don't know. Probably other parts can be broken too. So, I don't know what LDO's are mounted in this detector. I don't know how is mounted speaker - probably from RBB/P1A pin of PIC16c717 via 200ohm resistor and next BSS138 transistor. Anyone can help me?
I've first time this detector in my hands. This machine is supplied from 8 cells AA - 12V.

    Thanks and BR

Hi KT315. Thanks. I know this picture. Have read wrong smd codes from LDO's. 26T is XC6202P852MR - +8.5V LDO and 25M is XC6202P502MR - +5V LDO. Probably is burnet-out path in PCB too, but don't know which. I had not voltage on blue electrolytic capacitor (1000uF/16V). Connected to '+' this capacitor, using wire + 5V, and after install LDO's detector came to live, and everything rather working OK. Unfortunatelly i'm hearing for circa minutes bip-bip-bip - signal discharged battery. Maybe this 5V is to little? Don't know this construction, and afraid connect 12V. I don't know for what is this circuit - for this capacitor is inked speaker, ceramic capacitor (filter?) and resistor, and... i don't see nothing without unsoldering headphones socket and few parts from PCB.

        BR

OK. I saw pictures on http://metal.detector.forum.forumfree.it/?t=67150258. These are not same pictures. Till Monday I saw so many pics of Goldmaxx, so this seems same.

Hi All. OK. I solved this problem, and fixed detector. Maybe this topic will have usefull in future if someone will have same problem. LDO's has damaged because earlier repairer couldn't fix this machine and spoiled more... I changed these LDO's to other 0.8A in SOT89. Unfortunately I couldn't purchase in my Country proper LDO's in SOT233.
But main problem was in damaged pads on mainborad - found this pad like in linked pictures and measured, next fix link beetwen this pads. Now, everything works OK.
This path linking power supply (after diode) to speaker and analog comparator (393) for testing discharged battery level too.

You can measure the ratings of capacitors?

PS. Sorry, but I'm not all the time on-line in Internet.
