    hie,
1 meter range does not mean anything if you don't define the target (coin, piece of metal, etc.. ).
If you want to get a gold nugget at 1 meter, go to the long range locator which seems to be a class of fraudulent devices.
No VLF (very low frequency) or BFO (beat frequency oscillator) can have such a detecting distance.
The only technologie that can do the job is the PI (pulse induction) technologie.
One of the easyest project here is :
    the SURF PI : http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showt...55-Surf-PI-Pro
    the HAMMERHEAD project : http://www.geotech1.com/forums/forum...-Hammerhead-PI
    The FELEZJOO PI : http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showt...ht=felezjoo+pi
I can also talk about the CLONE PI, CHANCE PI, PICKINI v4, QED, XR-71, GARETT XL200 or XL500 and more and more and more.
You will find everything you want by exploring the Shematic section of the forum but you must know something :

You will NEVER detect anything smaller than a soda can at 1 Meter depth.

I hope i did not say any mistake and that it will help you.

Back in those days, Orcad schematic was first designed to work only in Dos. Then by Christmas, for the guys who bought the Dos version, Orcad sent out a version to work in Windows 95. Then latar on, a version came out which was designed to work in Windows 98. It was really for Win 98, but for some reason it also worked in Win XP.

This was all in association with another Orcad software, called PLD386+ Version 2.0, which was to take the schematic files and then put them or most of them into a PLD chip. Just thought I would update you on that, but you probably already knew that anyway.
