I am in the state of shock regarding your limited level of understanding of my original post. You reference a link which has no apparent relevance to the subject. Please clarify your opinion, is the Quasar Arm detector a good or bad gold detector and why?

The difficult part of this detector is building your pcb. I always make my own (photoresist process). To do it right you must make vias (drill small holes.) I used a sprint file from MD4U (Djepsis) because it had the control buttons mounted directly on the board. This board design used a non standard LCD screen, so I rewired it using a header pin socket to use a oled display

                        Hi at all,
can you offer some more details about your Coil? I have build the Quasar ARM and it works fine. At the moment my Coil ist only a heap of wire on my table.
I wonder how I have to conect the Coil to the Board. Is it important wich wire ending from the Tx and RX Coil comes to the Ground? I mean the winding direktion, (beginning and end of the coil or rotation of the winding)

                          Hi Wiltran,
Can you please share your modified layout file here ?
I'd like to test the Qasar.
I like the KROT 2 project and i think those two detectors are about
                          the same quality.
                          Thanks

can you offer some more details about your Coil?

Follow the authors original coil and you will have a good working coil. Spend extra time trying to balance the coil.

Can you please share your modified layout file here ?

The Sprint layfile I used is found on MD4U Quassr/pcb on around page 15 if I remember correctly.
