  • Whites coinmaster 4 DB schematic

Hi All I'm looking for a whites Coinmaster 4 DB schematic. It doesn't make a sound the meter pegs out when turned on
it doesn't look like it's ever been used. I'd like a road to the circuit before I open it up any help would be greatly appreciated

Never seen a 4DB schematic. There is however a 6DB service manual on this site which has the schematic for 6DB. open up the thing and take some pictures. Heres the 6db schematic

The 4DB should be quite similar to 6DB i think.

Thanks again for the schematics I just wanted to follow up on my findings. The detector as I said is in like new condition I opened it up and the inside is supreme so before I started poking around I remembered I never plugged in headphones so I tried my phones out and it
functioned perfectly. I field tested it and it worked as great as this old beast can so I don't know why it's not working without the headphones but I don't detect without them

Bad speaker maybe? Or loose/broken wire to speaker? Or maybe the jack itself is corroded on the inside. Spray/clean the headphone jack on the detector. How about some pics of the inside?

Nice, one of the chips looks like a huge chunk of it broke off. or is that just some paint or something, anyway the thing works except for speaker.

That is a reflection on the chip the whole board has a glossy coating on it which makes very shiny probably for moisture resistance. The machine works perfectly with the headphone jack is in take it out and it's dead silent and the meter pegs out.Very strange but like I said I always use headphones anyway, but it bugs me when things don't function perfectly.
